Key Accountabilities

  • Adhere to the Iron Mountain Code of Ethics and Core Values;

  • Adhere to all Iron Mountain Policies and procedures ;

  • Complete all tasks as requested by your manager in a timely and efficient manner;

  • Ensure the month end close & all relevant reporting (monthly, quarterly & annual) are completed in a timelymanner & within US reporting deadlines;

  • Prepare and/or review of journals and balance sheet reconciliations;

  • Reconcile inventory accounts and review monthly inventory reports to ensure data integrity;

  • Perform risk analysis, review, and providing recommendations for business process changes necessary to address risks of financial misstatement. Working with management, operations and accounting teams on implementing the changes;

  • Provide support to investigate and resolve accounting issues;

  • Manage and track the preparation of all statutory accounts and statutory returns for all ITRenew entities;

  • Work closely with the accounts payable team and/or procurement team in resolving complex accounts payable issues;

  • Support both internal and external audits;

  • Perform and monitor SOX controls compliance as well as ensuring adherence to finance policies and procedures;

  • Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure accuracy andreliability of financial records;

  • Provide accounting support of M&A activities, due diligence and post-acquisition integration; and

  • Ad hoc financial and operational work as agreed with your manager.


  • No direct reporting staff

  • Coordinating with the broader finance team and global business services team to ensure role accountability is achieved and finance team objectives are achieved.


  • Graduate in Accounting or similar qualification;

  • Professional accounting qualification;

  • Track record of continuous professional development;

  • Technically competent financial professional with ability to manage workload, prioritise conflicting priorities/issues.

Skills (including languages):

  • Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA or local equivalent);

  • Previous experience in a similar position, including experience of providing financial accounting support;

  • Ability to work as a team and with staff located in remote location & various time zones;

  • Sound up to date knowledge on US GAAP and Internal Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);

  • Excellent Microsoft skills (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to use them in informing, training and coaching;

  • Ability to build relationships and operate in a matrix structure;

  • Ability to analyse problems, actively strategize and resolve problems;

  • Experience working in a shared service environment;

  • Good attention to detail; and Ability to communicate concepts and findings of analysis to collegues and management


  • 5-7 years of progressive experience;

  • 3-4 years working within a public accounting firm;

  • Experience working in a foreign owned multinational public reporting environment; and

  • Having experience using Oracle ERP System, or any other major ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Great Plains)
