Senior Insurance and Risk FP&A Analyst

This role will be part of our Global Risk Management team, responsible for managing and processing the financial transactions of the Risk Management team. This role will work with country/cluster accounting teams, FP&A and subject matter experts to develop and enhance the interface with these teams.

Additionally, this role will manage property losses, allocations, actuarial reporting and analytics and support various risk management initiatives and reporting.

Key Accountabilities will include:

·Ensure timely payment of all insurance and risk related invoices, including correct accounting coding Manage claims related payments including tying back the invoices to various claims management systems and reporting Manage risk management budget including monthly changes Reconcile payments to the budget and accounting reconciliation

·Ensure budget/forecast is updated monthly and support tracking actuals against budget in financial system - Global responsibility

·Serve as the linkage between offshore accounting team and Risk Management team in the reconciliation of accrued insurance balances.

·Prepare data for quarterly actuarial reporting

·Prepare data for monthly workers compensation allocation reports

·Ensure data is accurately reflected in RMIS system including timely updates of data feeds

·Upload data feeds and ensure accuracy in RMIS system Support global risk management reporting

·Manage property claims including managing deductibles, logging payments, allocation of payments and bringing claims to resolution

·Manage vendor profiles

·Report on risk management productivity

·Document actuarial meetings for SOX compliance

·Assist with the collection of exposure data

·Assist with insurance carrier audits

·Act as a liaison between regional accounting teams, third party outsourced claims management providers, and our Global Business Services groups Decision Making Authority and Budgetary Responsibility

·Responsible for the development and management of Risk Management annual and monthly budgeting Documentation of all processes Resources

·Leverage the resources of the regional accounting teams, outsourced provider, GBS, and corporate accounting teams to ensure proper monitoring and execution of intercompany transactions and allocations and budgeting.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Essential Qualifications :

·Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics or related.

·Accounting Broader business qualification (e.g. MBA)

·Insurance related experience/knowledge preferred but not necessary

·SAP/Oracle knowledge Consolidation tool similar to OneStream, Hyperion SAP Hanna

·Understanding of accounting (P&L, Balance Sheet, liability impact to P&L)

·Heavy user of excel Knowledge/Skills/Experience Skills (including languages):

·Ability to build relationships and operate in a matrix structure; Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of finance function, accounting and understanding/implications related to budgeting processes

·Ability to constructively challenge the status quo, identify improvement opportunities and engage with all relevant parties to gain commitment, lead changes and ensure success.

·Passionate about speed and simplicity. Ability to set clear priorities and objectives

·Financial and business acumen, ability to learn, understand and converse around finance and accounting.

·Experience providing financial accounting support is a plus

·Ability to work as a team and with staff located in remote location

·Excellent Google skills excellent verbal and written skills

·Ability to analyze problems, actively strategize and resolve problems

·High attention to detail; and Ability to communicate concepts and findings of analysis to colleagues and management

·Experience: 4-6 years of experience in finance and/or risk management preferred Experience working in a multinational environment is a plus.
