Primary responsibility of this position is representing the treasury function in the Americas (US, Canada and Latin America), managing treasury activities and banking relationships in the region, and partnering with the regional business management. The role will also partner with Tax, Legal, FP&A and Controllers on any specific projects which impact the region.
This position will lead and/or assist in other special projects that support the goals of the Treasury. This position will involve Iron Mountain global finance interaction as well as partnership with our group of banking partners.
Manage local cash, pooling and short-term investments
Manage local working capital management, and cash flow forecasting
Manage Internal Funding process, and reporting of Cash Pools
Set up cash pooling structure and netting process (intercompany & third parties) in the region
Manage local banking relationships and fees
Manage bank accounts and mandates
Business partnering and working with other Regional / Corporate functions (i.e. Legal / Tax / Controllers)
Understanding business models, principal structure
Manage and monitor contingent liabilities
Identify FX and other risk exposures
Monitor and communicate new regulatory, or monetary rules, as well as new liquidity solutions
Systems administration and infrastructure
Ensure global best practices are shared when and where necessary
Ad hoc projects as required (Capital Markets, etc.)
BS or BA degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college
7+ years of related work experience in finance and finance operations
Prior international Treasury experience, including cash management, investing, local funding needs, banking relationships, and FX exposure management.
Experience with legal entities and their relationships
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in change management and process improvement
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills
High degree of initiative and self-motivation
Ability to interface in a team environment with various levels of management
