Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a strong understanding of financial processes? We are excited to welcome a talented Accountant to our team at Iron Mountain. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have experience in accounting and taxation, we invite you to be part of our dedicated finance team.
What You Will Do:
Handle daily financial transactions, including recording small expenses/incomes and payment instructions.
Manage daily cash payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Prepare and maintain the "Daily cash movement" report and ensure its accuracy.
Process daily payments through online banking systems, ensuring timely submission of required documents.
Administer and update accounting documents, financial records, and cost allocation following established procedures.
Prepare and propose payments to suppliers and clients, ensuring accurate documentation.
Assist in debt recovery procedures and maintain communication with relevant parties.
Ensure timely monthly payroll processing in electronic format.
Reconcile daily bank statements and update relevant reports.
Process monthly tax payments as per the received "Summary of Payment Taxes" from external sources.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting entries, including AS documents.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, variance reports, and reconciliations.
Collaborate with the Finance Director on various accounting activities and queries.
Uphold the integrity of financial controls and compliance with accounting standards.
Contribute to the improvement of current processes and workflows.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
Proficiency in computer usage, including accounting software and MS Excel.
Fluency in English and knowledge of Romanian and international accounting standards.
Strong communication skills and organizational abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to find complex solutions for financial and tax-related issues.
Capacity to work within deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
Understanding of banking regulations and principles.
Ability to work well within a team and independently.
