We are seeking an experienced FP&A specialist to be a business partner in supporting the German business providing strong financial planning & analysis alongside strategic and tactical thinking.
As Senior FP&A Analyst , you will be a key contributor to the German team and be responsible for outlining key financial guidance / metrics and managing the monthly forecast / annual budget. This role requires frequent interaction with the management team with the need to resolve complex issues in a global environment, as well as provide guidance and advice to the business around various growth / cost savings strategies.
What you will do
Be the finance business partner for the German management team
understand financial results and manage gross margin / capex metrics to deliver full year budget performance
Provide decomposition of Revenue performance, tracking of key projects / deals in the region, deal model margin vs actual margin analysis, summarise budget-forecast-actual performance
Develop analytics to understand key contract performance
Be responsible for Risks & Opportunities analysis and their regular updates
Lead all aspects of the annual budgeting process (modeling, product and functional coordination) and serve as point person to bridge the high level targets and the detailed budget assumptions
Lead CAPEX requests
Resolve issues and/or inefficiencies in both finance and business related processes by probing and looking beyond symptoms to determine underlying causes to problems and issues
Independently lead team meetings and cross functional initiatives (business trend analytics, process improvement initiatives, M&A integration, business cases)
Develop relationships across the global organization, influence other teams and design collaborations to drive results, improve process efficiency and accuracy of plan
Support forward looking business decisions by tracking trends and metrics, and delivering insights on financial and business performance and actionable insights to leadership team
What you will bring
be university educated with a degree in accounting or a finance related subject
Have a strong functional background of budgeting and planning processes
highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
Solid organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage projects with changing deadlines
Excellent analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and provide specific recommendations
Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service
Advanced Excel modeling skills
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal), organization and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while also supporting team objectives
Demonstrates initiative and innovation in achieving results
Business professional English (written and spoken) and fluent German
