We are looking for a new colleague who will be a key member of the Central FP&A team. The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for leading all aspects of the multi-year planning model/process, annual budget, and monthly forecast for the SG&A functions. Additionally, frequent interaction with business line Executive and Operational management and therefore strong communication skills are necessary.
What you will do:
Create month end reporting for the global functions, and ensure that key stakeholders are aware of any variances to forecast and Budget.
Understand and question particular journal entries or invoices with the local teams, through the use of Oracle.
Be a business partner with the key stakeholders within each global function, working with them to ensure forecasts are up to date and actuals are a true reflection of the business.
Support global consolidation of functional forecasts and Budgets, including the uploading of each global function’s forecast and Budget into Onestream planning tool.
Responsible for the creation and upload of SG&A budgets for global and local functions, with details of individual compensation and non-compensation spend.
Own the ESA Head Office location; responsible for the month end close, forecasting and Budgeting process of the c.80 individuals within.
What you will bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
Advanced Excel and gsheets modeling skills
Excellent analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and provide specific recommendations
Experience helping develop new FP&A capabilities and reports strongly preferred
Experience with Oracle and Onestream preferred
Ability to work independently while also supporting team objectives in a global setting
Demonstrates initiative and innovation in achieving results
Maintains a positive, achievement-oriented attitude
