The Iron Mountain Data Centre team is seeking for a highly motivated Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team in London. You will become part of our dynamic fast growing international organisation. As an Accounting Analyst you will be responsible for the whole planning and control cycle.

If successful your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist with month end closing activities and variance reporting, including reconciliations as well as the monthly financial reporting.

  • Coordinate and manage our 3rd party financial services party.

  • Assist with Financial Audit and fiscal year end closing.

  • Support the coordination of the appropriate accounting for transactions within IMDC including but not limited to, build to suit transactions, construction capitalization policies, and labor/commission capitalization.

  • Support business teams in navigating centralized accounting, real estate, and payment to procurement processes and procedures.

  • Coordinate any intercompany accounting and reporting across IMDC global locations and relationships with Iron Mountain subsidiaries.

  • Review purchase order requests to insure compliance.

  • Prepare cash management reporting and manage cash position.

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business partners.

  • Ensure compliance with internal control and financial audits.

  • Review and summarize customer contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards.

  • Support all preventative controls and process improvements to ensure compliance with all internal control requirements.

  • Support the coordination of the local preparation of quarterly VAT filings.

To be considered you will possess the following attributes:

  • A bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Economics.

  • Significant related experience in an international matrix environment.

  • Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion is preferred.

  • Detailed knowledge and hands on working experience with IFRS and US GAAP.

  • Good VAT knowledge in an international environment;

  • The ability to research, compile, analyse and present data.

  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong communicational and organizational skills.
