This is a new position reporting to the Director of Revenue Management Strategy. This role would drive revenue growth as a key member of the global Revenue Management team working with partners in Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, Legal, and all many other functions.
The primary function of this role is to create the structure to enable the collection and maintenance of pertinent competitive pricing information.
Essential Functions
Manage all aspects of intelligence collection from internal and external, published and unpublished sources
Build and maintain relationships with sales, product management, and marketing for intelligence gathering
Develop and manage internal intelligence network
Oversee collection of external intelligence by building network of sources and working with third-parties
Analyze information to create intelligence in coordination with Key Intelligence Topics
Apply structured analysis and synthesis to information
Develop and communicate actionable insights that influence pricing strategy
Produce finished intelligence products
Job Requirements:
Strategic analyst – able to see the “big picture” and relate it to pricing strategy
Superior communication and Interpersonal/networking skills
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred – business, statistics, economics
10+ years’ experience, with at least 5 years of competitive intelligence
Creative analytic capability – the ability to utilize data to identify opportunities and build a compelling story for change; translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations
Persuasion – the ability to lead change and align multiple teams; to influence multiple senior leaders without direct authority; fluency with conference calls, webinars, slides, etc.
Multi-disciplinary capability – the ability to interact across functions and cultures
Project leaderships – the ability to independently lead multiple projects from strategy to implementation
Change management experience
Nice to have: Experience with: Google Workspace, Aha!, SFDC
