Roles & Responsibilities
This role is accountable for assisting in the preparation of the statutory reports of various legal entities and provide all PBC items required for the statutory audits. This role will be part of a new team that will work with the Regional/Cluster Controllers to ensure timely delivery of statutory reports and external audits. There would be frequent interaction with management personnel at all levels of our organization, including Enterprise FP&A, Regional/Country Business Partners, Tax, Treasury and each of our international business units in order to ensure the accuracy of information included in each of our financials.

What You Will Do
Responsible for preparing the statutory reports while working with the Regional/Cluster Controllers and in-country teams in order to ensure timely tracking and completion of reports.
Responsible for attending training sessions and ensuring the understanding of our statutory reporting platform that will assist with the preparation of the statutory reports.
Responsible for providing all Provided-by-client (PBC) items to auditors while working with the Regional/Cluster Controllers and in-country teams in order to ensure timely tracking and completion of reports.
Responsible for working with our finance shared service outsource provider to complete all PBC items requested by the auditors while working with the Regional/Cluster Controllers and in-country teams. This includes providing audit samples of contracts, invoices, reconciliation of accounts, etc.
Responsible for escalating material issues that would impact the Company’s consolidated financial reporting to the Regional/Cluster Controllers and in-country teams in order to ensure timely tracking and completion of reports.
Responsible for timely communication of significant transactions or issues during the period with our external auditors to ensure timely resolution of the accounting conclusions based on the local statutory guidance.
Responsible for tracking local GAAP to US GAAP adjustments and ensuring entries are recorded in a timely manner that is in line with the Company’s policy.
Responsible for completing all statutory reports within budget and/or escalating overruns in a timely manner while working with the Regional/Cluster Controllers and in-country teams.
Responsible for ensuring that all statutory reports are completed by the required deadlines.
Responsible for following consistent procedures for the preparation of statutory reports and the provision of PBC items to auditors.
Responsible for ensuring that each countries systems are in compliance with statutory requirements and Local GAAP entries are maintained within the system (e.g Oracle). You will support any system updates to comply with the applicable guidance and generate the US GAAP to local GAAP adjustments, as required.
Responsible for staying up-to-date with the Global Accounting Policies, including the Policy for Statutory Reporting.
Responsible for collaborating with our Tax group to track legal entity liquidation plans and any related statutory reporting requirements.
What You Will Bring To Our Role
University degree in accounting.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting/reporting/audit experience.
Knowledge of financial principles ( IFRS ), financial accounting and audit.
Excellent knowledge of Google Suite ( Oracle ERP will be a plus).
Strong analytical ability, tenacity and sound commercial judgment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English is must.
Proficient in other languages is a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
