Iron Mountain Government Affairs Intern in Washington, District Of Columbia

Iron Mountain is seeking a Government Affairs Intern to support the daily dynamic of our Government Affairs team!

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and track legislation, related Congressional hearings, and votes on a variety of legislative issues.

  • Create content for internal communications including social media posts, fact sheets, and newsletters.

  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including attending virtual events for outside chambers of commerce, trade associations, and member organizations.

  • Conduct research, both short and long term, for the Government Affairs Team on a variety of topics.

  • Identify political fundraisers and support overall Iron Mountain Political Action Committee (PAC) operations and compliance.

  • Assist the Government Affairs team with managing the office including managing vendors for supplies and subscriptions as well as planning and arranging for internal and external meetings and conference calls.

  • Provide general administrative and logistical support.
