Iron Mountain is seeking a Government Affairs Intern to support the daily dynamic of our Government Affairs team!
Responsibilities :
Monitor and track legislation, related Congressional hearings, and votes on a variety of legislative issues.
Create content for internal communications including social media posts, fact sheets, and newsletters.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including attending virtual events for outside chambers of commerce, trade associations, and member organizations.
Conduct research, both short and long term, for the Government Affairs Team on a variety of topics.
Identify political fundraisers and support overall Iron Mountain Political Action Committee (PAC) operations and compliance.
Assist the Government Affairs team with managing the office including managing vendors for supplies and subscriptions as well as planning and arranging for internal and external meetings and conference calls.
Provide general administrative and logistical support.
